Concept work for a short animated film I have in mind, inspired by all those brilliant gangster films out there - The Godfather, Scarface, Goodfellas etc...



I had vintage in mind, so I went for some rich sepia tones to contrast with the dark blacks.

I don't know what category it should fit in It was done using Photoshop CS2 and Picture It Print Studio. The cityscapes are based on London, I took many pictures there and overlayed them.

The moon was the hardest actually. It's simply a melting pot of varoius colours and filter effects, with a bit of blending here and there to get it right

I like the idea of cityscapes, I may turn this into a series but I'm not entirely sure... any thoughts?
